Position Summary

The Account Manager plays a critical role in supporting customer relationships and driving profitable growth. This position is responsible for quoting, pricing, margin management, contract and purchase order review, and day-to-day customer support, while also assisting with new business development. The role partners closely with operations, sourcing, and outside sales to ensure accurate execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage customer quotes, including pricing analysis and margin review
• Review customer contracts, terms, and requirements to ensure alignment with company capabilities
• Enter and manage customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing day-to-day requests and follow-up
• Support relationship management through proactive communication and issue resolution
• Participate in customer site visits as needed to support account relationships and business development
• Assist with identifying and supporting new business opportunities
• Coordinate internally with operations, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
• Handle miscellaneous customer requests and administrative sales support tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Account Manager, customer service, or account support experience in a manufacturing, or supply chain environment
• Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and cost drivers
• Experience with contract review and purchase order processing preferred
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Proficient with ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel required)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
