Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support a PreK-8th grade school in Harvest, Alabama. The contract position begins ASAP or with the start of the January semester and runs through May 22, 2026. This full-time role involves 37.5 hours per week, with a structured schedule designed to balance direct student interaction and assessment duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload currently at 58 students, divided between two SLPs to manage efficiently and collaboratively.
• Deliver therapy sessions Monday through Thursday, reserving Fridays primarily for assessments and documentation.
• Collaborate on caseload management and treatment planning, working independently without direct lead oversight.
• Utilize para support for student transitions to therapy sessions.
• Manage case documentation and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using PowerSchool or similar platforms.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with active licensure in Alabama.
• Experience working in school settings and virtual therapy environments.
• Prior knowledge of Alabama state laws related to special education is preferred.
• Familiarity with case management processes and IEP development is a plus.
• Ability to work within an established schedule starting at 7:45 a.m. CST.
