Assembly Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sheet Metal Assembly Technician to assist in building mechanical assemblies. While prior assembly experience is not required, candidates MUST have experience using manual and air hand tools, a high level of manual dexterity (a dexterity test is required), and the ability to accurately follow engineering drawings and written instructions. We offer a pay range of $15-$24/hr, with higher rates awarded to candidates possessing advanced skill levels in sheet metal assembly. Candidates MUST have an updated resume to be considered for this opportunity.

shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Assemble items from engineering drawings or as instructed.
• Apply adhesives.
• Clean and package parts.
• Take parts to/from inspection.
• Move parts/assemblies within department to others for next process.
• Ensure work is done safely and according to instructions and quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 30lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
