Faculty Family Medicine opening NE of Birmingham, AL

Medical Center is seeking BC/BE Family Medicine to join the Family Medicine Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Practice and teach comprehensive family medicine, including newborn and pediatric care, adult medicine, and geriatrics.
• Provide clinical supervision of residents in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Provide clinical supervision in the inpatient hospital setting (1 week/4-5 weeks).
• Participate in weekly didactic lectures, including procedural and clinical workshops.
• Serve as a resident advisor, mentor, and role model.
• OB optional.
• Medical student teaching and supervision.
• Opportunities for supported volunteer international work.
