Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while working as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary schools in the Theodore, AL area! This contract position gives you the flexibility to provide your expertise either on-site or via VOCO (virtual) services for K–5th grade students for the entire 2026–2027 academic year. Collaborate with educational teams across multiple campuses and help ensure every child has the communication tools they need to succeed.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Current CCC-SLP certification required
• Registration with the Board of Speech Examiners (active in Alabama)
• Ability to provide image documentation of all required licensure
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
• Comfortable working with K–5th grade age groups
• Open to both on-site and VOCO (virtual) service delivery
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students, both in person and via VOCO
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based multidisciplinary teams
