Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Burkville AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support site personnel with outstanding customer service and this dynamic role you will bring a caring reliable approach work with integrity and contribute to a team that values agility innovation and collaboration.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or emergency contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity unsecured access points and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and help verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel visitors and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
- Support site operations by maintaining detailed activity logs communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts and following established response procedures during routine and emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
