Brewton, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Delivery Driver for an immediate direct hire opening.

Essential Duties:
• Safely drive truck to deliver and sell products or render services.
• Apply knowledge of all applicable U.S. Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
• Operate lift truck/tow motor to move palletized inventory to various staging areas.
• Safely and efficiently roll compressed gas cylinders onto delivery truck and back as needed.
• Deliver welding and cutting supplies, including compressed gases, welding machines, safety supplies, and other industrial products to customers.
• Exchange full gas cylinders for empty cylinders and prepare delivery documents.
• Collect payments from customers and record transactions.
• Write customer orders and provide instructions for deliveries.
• Keep track of daily sales and delivery records.
• Inform customers of new products or services and promote sales materials.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide assistance as needed.
• Perform routine truck maintenance and ensure the truck is clean and orderly.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure safety during deliveries and truck operation.

Requirements/Skills:
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Minimum Class C with Hazardous Material endorsement.
• Valid DOT Medical Card and ability to pass all required DOT physical and drug screenings.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American money and weight measurement.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve service complaints.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements :
• Regularly required to sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or chemicals.
