About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Welding Parts Inspector to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting welded components to ensure they meet all quality, safety, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with welding or fabrication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
- Inspect welded parts and assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Perform visual inspection and use measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
- Identify defects including cracks, porosity, undercut, incomplete fusion, and incorrect weld size
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Tag and report non-conforming materials
- Work closely with welders and supervisors to resolve quality issues
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality control guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in welding, fabrication, or quality inspection preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with MIG, TIG, or other welding processes is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet production timelines
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work around heat, noise, dust, and industrial equipment
