As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with shoppers and tenants, provide clear communication, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, staff, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail common areas, corridors, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor shopper and employee activity for suspicious or disruptive behavior, provide directions and assistance, and report policy violations to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical calls, and/or property damage, and complete detailed incident reports.
• Control access at designated points, observe alarms and camera monitors when assigned, and communicate timely updates via radio and/or phone to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
