Southern Jamm Security is seeking dependable, professional, and motivated individuals to join our team as Public Safety Officers. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, guests, and staff across a variety of assignments including events, venues, corporate locations, and more.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their presence, communication, and ability to handle situations with confidence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible security presence to deter and prevent incidents
• Monitor assigned areas and report any suspicious activity
• Control access points and enforce client/site policies
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances appropriately
• Write detailed incident and activity reports
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining authority
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure safety standards are met

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus (not required)
• Must have a valid driver's license

Work Environment:

• Event venues (concerts, festivals, sports)
• Corporate sites
• Bars/nightlife (depending on assignment)
• Outdoor and indoor environments

Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling available
• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
• Part-time and full-time positions available
