Service Care, Inc. located in Birmingham, AL is looking to hire a full-time Appliance Repair Technician to join our team and provide excellent customer service while in our client's homes. This Appliance Repair Technician position offers two pay structures. Experienced master technicians earn base + commission resulting in earnings of $3,000 to $5,500 per month , depending on skills and experience. We also have an hourly pay schedule that rewards successful mastery of new appliance types with increased hourly pay. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm , plus no weekends! We also provide a full range of incredible benefits including a 401(k) plan with $1 for $1 match up to 6% of salary, life insurance policy, group health insurance plan, disability insurance, Christmas savings program, monthly bonuses, and an extensive training program. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN APPLIANCE REPAIR TECHNICIAN

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you ensure that customers are taken care of in the fastest, best way possible through your top-notch customer service skills. As you visit our client's homes, you effectively troubleshoot and take responsibility for servicing, and restoring appliances. You communicate clearly to customers about the proper operation and maintenance of newly installed equipment. At the end of each call, you will complete the required documentation about recommendations, repairs, readings, and observations. You will know that you have effectively completed your service call when you see the appreciative smile on each client's face.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current valid Alabama driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physically able to move appliances and lift up to 75 lbs
• Willingness to travel for training and some service
• Familiarity with smartphones/tablets/computers
