As a Dietary Aid , you will play a vital role in supporting our dietary department by assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our food service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, and preparing meals according to established recipes and guidelines

• Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards

• Assist with serving and plating food, as well as delivering meals to patients

• Monitor and maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, and report any discrepancies to the Dietary Manager

• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special events and functions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a dietary setting, preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
