We are seeking a Licensed General Contractor Qualifier to serve as the qualifying party for our Alabama operations and take on the role of Lead Construction Supervisor . This dual-capacity position ensures compliance with Alabama licensing requirements while providing hands-on leadership in the field to drive safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
As General Contractor Qualifier:
- Serve as the qualifying party for K&A EPC, LLC’s Alabama General Contractor license in accordance with Alabama Licensing Board for General Contractors requirements.
- Maintain active license status and ensure all company activities comply with state regulations.
- Represent the company in licensing matters, inspections, and board communications.
As Lead Construction Supervisor:
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities for projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance on all job sites.
- Review and approve project plans, drawings, and work methods.
- Lead and mentor on-site teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Monitor progress, resolve field issues, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Alabama General Contractor license in good standing.
- Eligible to serve as a qualifying party under Alabama law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in power/energy infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Alabama building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and complex projects.
- Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project delivery.
- Familiarity with substation, transmission line, collector system, and BESS construction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs.
Pay Range $
- Competitive base pay or retainer.
