Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our fleet of vehicles to ensure their safety and optimal performance.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Communicate with other personnel to coordinate repair efforts and ensure timely completion of work

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or diploma in diesel mechanics preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
