Providence Staffing is partnering with a highly respected private dental practice located in beautiful Orange Beach, Alabama. Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Dentist to join their growing team. This practice is dedicated to delivering gentle, comprehensive, and child-centered dental care in a welcoming and fun environment for children and their families.
This position offers an exceptional work-life balance with the flexibility to work only three days per week , while earning competitive compensation and making a lasting impact on young patients' oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations for infants, children, and adolescents, including assessment of teeth, gums, and oral development.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, dental trauma, and malocclusions in pediatric patients.
- Provide preventative care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral hygiene education.
- Perform restorative and therapeutic procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and space maintenance.
- Monitor growth and development of the jaw and teeth, identifying potential orthodontic issues early.
- Counsel patients and parents on diet, oral hygiene habits, and injury prevention strategies.
- Provide behavior management techniques and create a calm, friendly environment to reduce dental anxiety.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry (preferred).
- Active dental license in the state of Alabama, or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-centered approach to pediatric care.
- Proven ability to work with children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs.
- Strong clinical skills and familiarity with child-specific dental equipment and materials.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary: $180,000 – $450,000 , based on experience and credentials.
