Garba Industrial Service is seeking one well-qualified and motivated individual for a career that promises mutual growth with our well established team as a Marine Electrical Technician. Must be willing to relocate to Tampa, FL.

- Opportunities to lead teams of up to 5 people installing and upgrading power distribution and communication systems

- Solve complex and dynamic problems in the field, including those involving VFDs and PLCs

- Opportunities to travel and work overtime, with ability to decline for scheduling issues

- Design and build solutions to solve problems for automation needs and hazardous area environments

​​ What We Think a Qualified Candidate Will Look Like

• Previous experience in electrical system design, engineering for power distribution, automation, instrumentation and control, or other related fields
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals and creating rudimentary diagrams when needed
• PLC programming experience, or understanding of PLC operation and troubleshooting
• Analog and digital motor control experience
• Proficient with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Communicates effectively, works independently or in a group
• Interested in professional growth
• Possesses the ability to effectively communicate exclusively in English when needed
