Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our Birmingham-based team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for strategic messaging. The Communications Coordinator will support internal and external communication initiatives, ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging across all platforms and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement communication strategies across departments

  • Assist in drafting press releases, newsletters, and other internal and external communications

  • Maintain and update company communication calendars

  • Ensure brand consistency in all communication materials

  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop messaging for campaigns

  • Monitor and report on communication performance metrics

  • Support event planning and public relations efforts

  • Respond to internal and external communication inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in a communications or coordination role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with content management systems is a plus
