Precision CNC Milling Operator — 3-4 Axis VMC

Imagine starting your shift at our Arab, AL facility by bringing a 3–4 axis VMC online, loading tools, dialing in offsets, and running a first-article check. You read the blueprint, verify critical dimensions, and fine-tune feeds and speeds to hit spec. Throughout the day, you keep an eye on quality, log production data, and lend your troubleshooting skills to keep the line moving. Before wrap-up, you complete routine maintenance, tidy your station, and share ideas with teammates to make the next run even better.
What You’ll Handle
- Set up and operate CNC mills to consistently produce parts that meet spec.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to plan each job.
- Monitor machining and adjust tooling, offsets, and parameters to maintain quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and resolve mechanical or process issues as they arise.
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety practices.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and boost throughput.
- Accurately document production data and maintain records of work performed.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNC machining certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience as a CNC Operator or similar machining role.
- Solid knowledge of CNC machinery and programming concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Clear communicator who works well within a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when needed.
