Principal Systems Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL
6-month contract-to-hire (Conversion to perm placement at 6 months)
An employer is looking for a Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer in the Huntsville, AL area.
Requirements:
- Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer:* Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD.
- Strong prior experience with DOORS
- Missile Defense Domain knowledge
- Experience working in Hardware and Software integration
- Applicants must have a strong background in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) and the use of SysUML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system.
- Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience with Cameo
- Experience with INCOSE Systems engineering
- Security+
- Current active in-scope U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance
