Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• TCERT certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• School-based SLP experience is highly valued
• Comfortable adapting to a range of grade levels and caseload sizes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to participate in virtual interviews via Zoom

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate closely with special education and general education teams, as well as families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Adjust therapy approaches to accommodate student needs across grade levels
• Embrace potential opportunities for remote service delivery, as available later in the contract period
