Location: Selma, AL
Pay: $15.00 per hour

HireQuest Direct is seeking a dependable and motivated Saw Operator to join our team in Selma, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or production experience who are looking for stable, full-time employment in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate saw equipment safely and efficiently to cut materials according to specifications.
• Measure and verify material dimensions for accuracy.
• Load and unload materials from saw equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Read work orders and follow production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous saw operator or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.
