Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
• Valid Professional Educator Certification
• Strong understanding of laws, rules, and regulations related to the education of children with disabilities
• Comfortable compiling and analyzing data, and interpreting policies relevant to special education services
• Superior communication skills—both oral and written
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent development, as well as medical and psychological diagnostic tools

Preferred Credentials:

• ASHA (CCC) certification
• ABSESPA licensure

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely reporting
• Stay updated on current practices, compliance requirements, and best interventions in school-based speech therapy
