Position Summary

We are seeking an IV&V Software Analyst to support our customer. In this role, you will conduct and support advanced missile guidance technologies, including hardware and software, for strategic and tactical missiles used as critical components in air and missile defense systems. You will provide various software and system analysis activities that include test and systems validation, modeling and simulation, requirements analysis, data analysis, and flight/ground test analysis. You will evaluate software through the full development life cycle, including software requirement specifications, design verification, coding, testing, and data analysis supporting verification and validation. You will utilize static and dynamic analysis tools to identify potential code defects or anomalies. You will participate in technical reviews throughout the product lifecycle with a focus on software engineering. You will need to exercise strong written and oral communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and knowledge of the Software/Systems Development process and lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Verification and Validation: perform independent verification and validation during the development lifecycle of missile defense systems.
• Work in a team environment that advises on new requirements that are being proposed, modifications to existing requirements, and removal of obsolete requirements, as well as ensuring that any changes do not have a negative impact on other parts of the system.
• Workflow support: Conduct software analysis of requirements, design, and code artifacts to ensure correctness, completeness and traceability.
• Travel Requirements: 0-10%

Requirements and Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship and must possess an Active Secret Clearance
• Must possess a bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science; or related technical field
• Knowledge of C++, Python, Matlab, Java, and Ada coding languages
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Missile or Defense Software Analysis
• Knowledge or experience in Large Language Models and/or Machine Learning to support the automation of programmatic and administrative tasks, including coding support and data analysis.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis, Patriot, LRDR, SBX, TPY-2, etc.)
• Experience with, or academic grounding in, DevSecOps pipelines, with the capability to apply those principles to IV&V automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Testing and validation experience applicable to IV&V environments
• Experience in requirements development, documentation, and analytical review
• Background or familiarity with Air Defense systems or programs
