A leading food manufacturer has recently opened a state-of-the-art, 500,000 sq. ft. production facility and is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to help establish and support world-class maintenance operations. This role is more than just troubleshooting and repairs—you’ll play a key part in the setup of maintenance processes, working alongside leadership to implement systems, organize workflows, and optimize equipment performance in a brand-new facility. - Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting – Diagnose, repair, and optimize high-speed food processing and packaging equipment
- Preventative Maintenance – Conduct routine inspections, track repairs in CMMS software , and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency
- Electrical & Mechanical Repairs – Troubleshoot PLC systems, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and electrical wiring (120/240/480V)
- New Facility Setup – Work with leadership to establish preventive maintenance schedules, implement inventory control systems, and organize maintenance procedures
- Process Improvements – Collaborate with engineering and production teams to streamline maintenance processes and enhance equipment reliability
- Safety & Compliance – Follow OSHA regulations , GMPs, and company safety protocols
- Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance in food manufacturing, packaging, or a high-speed production environment
- Technical Expertise: Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with experience in PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation equipment
- Blueprints & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Hands-On Approach: Willingness to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting with exposure to high temperatures and heavy machinery
- Flexibility: Prefer candidates open to any shift, including overtime as needed
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing highly preferred
- Education & Certifications: AAS degree or maintenance-related certifications preferred
- PLC Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs is a strong plus
- Additional Skills: Welding, pipefitting, HVAC, or boiler system experience is a bonus
