HRIS Analyst II
Job Overview:
The HRIS Analyst II is an administrative analyst position within the HR department. The primary focus of this position is the lead the efforts of support and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (Microsoft Great Plains or ADP) in addition to other systems supported by the HR and IT departments. As a member of the Human Resources team, the HRIS Analyst II provides technical support for HRIS functions within the Human Resources department and to other internal customers. Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists Human Resource Managers with ensuring procedural integrity of data, system change tests, reporting, and process improvement analysis. The HRIS Analyst II will also be involved with broader strategic HR initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides technical support for end users; maintains and updates databases; develops and conducts training sessions if needed
· Audits, analyzes, and updates a variety of data maintained electronically
· Manages the HR data systems, creates queries, manages reporting and serves as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Great Plains program and/or ADP system and other HRIS systems
· Proficiency in data access techniques including any required query languages used for database management and analysis
· Provides data support to HR processes including recruiting, on-boarding, employee development, salary change, employee and organizational change, time tracking and termination
· Packages metrics/analysis into presentations and reports for management
· Conducts broad-based workforce analysis using available HRIS data
· Responds to ad hoc reporting requests and delivers in a timely and accurate manner
· May acts as the HRIS liaison with IT when testing software upgrades as well as routine maintenance
· Reviews and recommends HR processes to ensure continuous improvement of efficiencies
· Monitors and ensures that transactions are processed consistently and that data integrity is maintained
· Provides assistance on projects related to all facets of Human Resources
· Works with others to ensure accurate requirements are defined
· Provides technical advice and consultation
· Provides timely project status and issue reporting to management
· Other duties as required and/or assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
· High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or Information Systems or related field- required
· Three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resource experience- required
· Three (3) years of experience in an analytical role- required
· Three (3) years of high volume report writing and report analysis experience- required
· Report trending and quantitative reporting experience- required
· Experienced and proficient user in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access database; a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 80% skills pass rate- required
· Experience in SQL-
· Demonstrates strong quantitative and analytical skills to understand and apply HR data in report writing and/or guidelines
· Demonstrates skills in organization, verbal and written communication, time management and acute attention to detail
· Demonstrates skills in planning and maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines
· Proven experience with the nature and flow of the business and application to the analysis
· Must have proficient computer skills to maintain databases, run reports, design and perform other HRIS computer operations as necessary
· Experienced user of Microsoft's Great Plains or ADP program is strongly desired
· Proven skills in planning and project management is required
·
· Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
· Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
· Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
