Role

The Receiving Clerk ensures all inbound parcels are inventoried, documented, and distributed completely, accurately, and on time.

Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure all incoming shipment documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare receiving records for all inbound shipments.
• Verify and document all in-bound shipments; distribute and/or scan documents to the appropriate department(s).
• Complete documents for incoming parts that have been inventoried and accounted for; transfer incoming parts to their respective warehouse, and physically stage said parts for distribution to the Depot Services.
• Maintain good workplace safety and security procedures.
• Maintain department files, routine correspondence with Warehouse manager and field technicians who return equipment to be repaired.
• May be assigned to assist with physical inventories.
• Advise management when to reorder shipping supplies.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping and light maintenance.
• Perform general warehouse duties, assembly and/or order- filler duties.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with warehouse functions is preferred.
• Ability to understand and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
