About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Med Surg Telemetry, plus overall 2 years experience License: Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No Temporary Licenses accepted) Certifications: AHA BLS, American Red Cross Certification Must-Have: - Associate degree in nursing - 2 years overall experience in specialty, with at least 1 year of recent experience Description: This position may require floating to different acute care areas as needed. The role requires potential reassignment one time throughout the day to another unit. Availability to float to all acute areas is essential. Must be willing to float to a location within the service area. The position requires working every other weekend and holidays as required. The schedule offers flexibility with 36 or 48 hours per week options. Early starts are available if compliant. Candidates must possess an associate degree in nursing. The required certifications include AHA BLS and American Red Cross certification. A registered nurse license in Alabama or a compact license is mandatory. Overall, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty is required, though consideration may be given to individuals with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license, provided they have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty. The clinical environment will utilize an EMR system. Please ensure adherence to the specified dress code, which requires solid navy scrubs. This is a patient-facing clinical role.
