Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nations defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.The Work
The selected Test Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the GWS-GSS IPT. You be responsible for scheduling the tests for execution and then will monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.Who We Are

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 4 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 2 years of related experience, or a PhD or equivalent combined education and experience.
Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.
Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing.
Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.
Experience in C++ development
Experience using Python and other scripting languages
Experience using Eggplant or other GUI based toolset
Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
