Welder
Flat Welders Opportunity
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in the Irondale, AL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Maintain a strong safety record by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Fit, weld, and assemble natural gas components per API 1104
- Utilize an oxygen acetylene torch
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan and execute welding tasks
- Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications
- Use of a weld positioner/turntable majority of welds will be rolled out
- Inspect material for defects and check material specifications to record traceability requirements
- Read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16
- Efficient with common tools of the trade
- Able to meet quoted job times
Requirements:
- Pass a weld test
