As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility - Full Time in Tuscaloosa, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in creating a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns that arise. You will be counted on to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, assisting individuals and addressing their needs with professionalism and empathy. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel, following established protocols for the healthcare environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and supporting visitor management procedures.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related issues encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
