As a **Security Officer - Defense Patrol Clearance Required** in **Huntsville, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your role will involve conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
+ Document all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
+ Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner while providing assistance as needed.
+ Remain alert to any potential threats or emergency situations, and promptly communicate information to supervisors or emergency responders as necessary.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
