Role Highlights:

• Circulate in the Cardiovascular Operating Room and float to other units or nearby hospitals as patient care needs fluctuate.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver exceptional care while maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing practice.
• Foster positive therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
• Provide leadership and delegate appropriately to LPNs, PCAs, Ortho Techs, and other non-licensed team members.
• Supervise, support, and encourage the growth of your healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing (required).
• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a Compact state (no temporary licenses).
• AHA BLS and ACLS or Red Cross equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (will consider 18 months if at least 1 year is recent in CVOR).
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility to float, and commitment to delivering compassionate care.
