Job Summary

The position exists to help increase throughput, quality, and integration with production processes across laboratory, production, and agricultural environments.

Job Description

• Challenge existing methods to improve throughput, quality, and integration with current production systems.
• Support engineering and science teams in researching and developing innovative technical solutions.
• Assist in the development, construction, deployment, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Support domestic and international laboratories , production, and agricultural environments.
• Participate in startup activities and functional testing of prototypes to validate performance against defined requirements.
• Collaborate with Safety teams to ensure compliance with company policies and industry safety and design standards.

Skills Required

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of constructing and testing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience working in laboratory environments, including sample preparation and data collection.
• Strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks while working under multiple supervisors.
• Proficiency with standard office productivity tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Experience using a wide range of fabrication and assembly tools, including hand tools, power tools, soldering, cutting, welding, grinding, and drilling equipment.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • PCB component-level soldering and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience programming and using single-board microcontrollers or computers.
  • Experience with higher-level programming languages.
  • Ability to operate milling machines, drilling machines, and lathes.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related scientific field.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Work schedule is 8:00 AM
• Willingness to work on-site full time.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $17.68 to $25.68 per hour based on qualifications.
