Fitter Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 04:00am to 02:30pm )

As a Fitter you will:

• Tack-welds smaller pieces onto main piece.
• Use cutting torch for cutting metal
• Use mag drill and hydraulic punches to put holes in metal
• Grind steel
• Pay can be higher based on experience

Fitter Qualifications:

• Updated work history or resume required
• Must complete paper application at Elwood Staffing Oxford for skills' evaluation
• Must be able to work 10 to 12 hour shifts
• Must have knowledge of tape measure
• Must have construction or heavy industrial experience
• Must be able to work in a hot and dusty work environment
• Must be able to work overtime
• High School Diploma or GED NOT required
• Must stand for entire shift
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• All leather steel toe boots required

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
