We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing exceptional dining experiences, excellent communication skills, and a passion for food and beverage service. The Original Pancake House is family-owned (not corporate), opens days only, has great tips, good people, and no night shifts!

We have full-time and part-time positions available.

We are open Monday-Friday from 6:30 am - 2:00 pm, Saturday-Sunday from 7:00 am - 2:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, providing menus and answering questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
• Take orders accurately, ensuring proper recording and communication of guest preferences, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen staff.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring proper presentation and serving etiquette.
• Monitor guests' satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages, facilitating efficient communication between front and back-of-house teams.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience is required.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service principles, including proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including standing, bending, lifting objects, and carrying trays of food and beverages.
