Embark on an enriching academic year as a secondary Math teacher inspiring young learners in a supportive, onsite school environment near Montgomery, AL. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Alabama Teacher’s Certification with a Math endorsement (Bachelor’s degree or higher)
- Strong communication skills and passion for teaching math at the secondary level
- Ability to create a classroom environment that supports both learning and personal growth
- Demonstrated capacity to motivate and encourage students
- Proficient in using technology to enhance instruction and equip students with 21st-century skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish effective rapport with students and facilitate a supportive learning atmosphere
- Motivate learners to develop attitudes, skills, and knowledge that build a strong foundation in mathematics
- Seamlessly incorporate technology to make lessons engaging and relevant
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, volunteers, and visitors
- Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership
This position covers the academic year, from August 11, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with a standard 37.5-hour work week. The caseload details are being finalized. Three onsite positions are available, providing chances to collaborate and share in student success.
