Personal Injury Paralegal
They are a well-established plaintiff personal injury firm headquartered in Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities:
- As a paralegal working on insurance and personal injury cases here, you will be fighting for clients' rights alongside the attorney
- You will not only be helping their cases, but you will be talking with clients and helping to reduce their stress that comes with the legal process
- Initially, all paralegals begin by working in the office where it’s easy to ask questions, talk to colleagues, and connect as a team
- Scheduling and setting depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Filing and serving pleadings in both State and Federal Court
- Communicating with clients
- Helping with discovery
- Calendaring deadlines
- Conducting regular file reviews with the attorney to go over the status and next steps
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal
- Paralegal certification (preferred)
- Personal injury experience (preferred)
