Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication growth at an elementary school setting! This fulfilling contract opportunity is located near Odenville, AL and offers the chance to work directly onsite in a supportive educational environment. You’ll provide speech-language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students from August through the end of May, helping them achieve their communication and academic goals.
Your expertise will shine as you:
- Deliver therapy and assessment services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s individual needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations to help design effective plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Provide guidance on communication strategies and supports within the classroom
Ideal experience and qualifications include:
- SLP State License in the state of Alabama
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State Educator Certificate
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassion and dedication to helping young learners succeed
