Position Summary

The Admissions Coordinator plays a key role in driving facility census, coordinating admissions, and representing the facility within the community.

This role blends relationship-building, coordination, and strategy — ensuring every admission is smooth, compliant, and aligned with the facility’s goals.

What You’ll Do

  1. Serve as the primary liaison between the facility and community partners
  2. Maintain and grow census in alignment with facility goals
  3. Conduct tours with prospective residents and families
  4. Coordinate and complete the full admissions process
  5. Verify insurance and gather necessary documentation
  6. Collaborate with hospital case managers and referral sources
  7. Support clinical assessments to ensure appropriate admissions
  8. Develop and implement marketing strategies and outreach efforts
  9. Conduct market research and bring new ideas to the Admissions Committee
  10. Evaluate resident and family satisfaction throughout the admissions experience
  11. Represent the facility at community and networking events
  12. Stay informed on market trends and referral patterns

What We’re Looking For

  1. Previous experience in admissions, marketing, or healthcare coordination (required)
  2. Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  3. Ability to work effectively with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and families
  4. Excellent customer service and public relations skills
  5. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  6. Ability to present, influence, and build trust in the community
  7. Self-motivated and able to work independently
  8. Must be at least 18 years of age
  9. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
