Site Deputy/Production Senior Manager

Description: LockheedMartinSpace is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to serve as Senior Production Manager for the Courtland,AL campus. Reporting to the Site Director, you will also act as Site Deputy and provide senior leadership for:
Ordnance processing supporting Fleet Ballistic Missile and Terminal HighAltitude Area Defense missileseparation activities.
Harness manufacturing for missiles and satellites.
Oversight of highvisibility, complex programs, including Conventional Prompt Strike, LongRange Hypersonic Weapons, and nextgeneration interceptors.
In this role you will help shape the sites strategic direction and drive the transition to highrate, highvolume production.
Basic Qualifications:
Proven ability to manage a multifaceted organization.
Progressive experience in a highmix, highvolume manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace/defense.
Demonstrated success delivering largescale process or technology changes
Direct experience interfacing with internal and external customers, translating needs into production execution.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Proven experience leading large, crossfunctional teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering).
Proven track record of shaping and executing longterm manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives.
Experience with transitioning development
programs into production.
Demonstrated experience leading teams
through the resolution and prevention of
performance slips (schedule, cost, and quality)
and streamlining processes.
Direct experience with highthroughput lines, especially ordnance, missile AUR, cable & harness and/or aerospace manufacturing.
Proven Full Spectrum Leadership ability to inspire, coach, and hold teams accountable in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication; can convey complex technical concepts clearly to all levels.
Experience communicating and presenting site and program status to senior government customers.
Ability to use SAP, MES, MS Project, and MS Excel.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
