Superintendent

Seeking a Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Cape Canaveral, FL. Relocation assistance is available!

Salary is between $150,000 - $230,000 per year (based on experience)

The Superintendent will plan, direct, and coordinate construction and maintenance activities for structures, facilities, and systems. This position will oversee projects from conceptual development through scheduling, budgeting, execution, and completion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead site superintendents and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.

• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve project issues.

• Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking reports.

• Review and inspect work for compliance with construction documents, building codes, and safety standards.

• Determine appropriate construction methods based on project specifications.

• Investigate site incidents, delays, or safety concerns and implement corrective actions.

• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

• Develop and implement quality control programs.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive construction management experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to navigate active construction sites, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working on uneven surfaces.

• Ability to operate tools, equipment, and a motor vehicle.

• Capable of extended standing, walking, and working in various weather conditions.

• Ability to maintain focus, make timely decisions, and enforce safety and PPE requirements on-site.
