As Sous Chef at The Depot, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our high standards and driving our continued success. - Overseeing and participating in all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistent high quality and adherence to recipes.
- Leading and mentoring kitchen staff during service, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Mastering essential culinary techniques, including meticulous mise en place preparation and precise butchery.
- Managing inventory, including accurate ordering and receiving of food and goods, and maintaining stringent ingredient quality control.
- Contributing to menu development and special creations, showcasing your culinary creativity.
- Ensuring efficient and organized shift operations, maximizing productivity and minimizing waste.
- Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assisting in the training and development of kitchen team members.
- Contributing to the financial performance of the kitchen through effective cost management.
- A competitive salary range of $41,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.

- Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience in an upscale hotel or fine dining restaurant setting (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sous Chef role or similar culinary management position (Required).
- Strong food knowledge and a passion for culinary innovation.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable commute to Auburn, AL 36830, or willingness to relocate before starting work (Required).
