Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited college or university
• Knowledge of education laws, policies, and regulations related to children with disabilities and special education programs
• Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent development, as well as medical and psychological diagnostic assessments
• Understanding of terms describing physical and learning disabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver therapy for students with speech and language disorders
• Analyze data, compile reports, and ensure compliance with education laws and policies
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans
