Objective: The Field Millwork Supervisor works closely with the Project Management Team to oversee a large millwork package, in Columbus GA. They will lead multiple crews and provide and maintain all aspects necessary to promote the on time and accurate installation and completion of any assigned DMA Custom Millworks projects. SALARY WILL BE COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.

Duties: This is a temporary onsite working supervisory role, which will last about 10-12 months.

• Coordinate with DMA Project Manager, while working with the general contractor's superintendent to ensure the project schedule is met.
• Keep updated and accurate logs of daily work efforts and noting any delays reported on the daily reports.
• Maintain a proactive approach by supplying a completion plan for the Project Manager.
• Manage manpower by scheduling craftsman hours.
• Schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process, to ensure quality of services.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by keeping the customer in mind and by keeping the interests of the company at heart.
• Monitor Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) and overall site safety.
• Coordinate and resolve any field discrepancies/issues with the Project Manager.
• Enforce/adherence to all company processes, policies and procedures.
• Enforce/adhere to all company and customer safety policies and procedures to maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
• Provide regular feedback to Project Manager regarding progress of the job. Submit any issues or suggestions and maintain good working relationships.
• Prepare, schedule and supervise completion of a final punch list.
• Demonstrates ability to interact with the customer and ability to handle the labor environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Proven ability to motivate, guide, and direct a team to reach and exceed business goals
• 5+ years of experience in the millwork industry
• 2+ years of experience as a foreman/manager in the construction and/or millwork industry.
• Must be able to drive to multiple job sites daily, this may include expressway driving. Intense traffic is possible.
• Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 40 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends (as needed).
