Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available for the 20262027 school year in Trussville, AL, serving students in grades K12. This contract position offers opportunities to work with a diverse caseload, including pediatrics and early childhood, with needs ranging from moderate to profound based on your experience and preferences. Both local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with varied communication needs.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings related to student evaluations and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification or licensure appropriate for pediatrics.
- Experience in early childhood and elementary school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads with diverse communication needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student-centered therapy and teamwork.
