As a Security Officer Badge Screening in Theodore, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support smooth site operations. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service to help promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, yards, docks, and/or operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, damaged barriers, and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Support traffic flow at gates and access points by directing incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintaining visitor logs, and following post orders related to trailers, packages, and/or shipment movement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
