Medical Office Receptionist
At Advantage Chiropractic Clinic, our goal is friendly, patient-centered care to assist our patients in improving and maintaining healthy lifestyles. Our staff coordinates as a team led by our Board Certified Chiropractors. We are looking for long-term staff members interested in helping patients and that are dedicated to their job.
Qualifications:
Advantage Chiropractic Clinic is accepting applications for a Medical Office Receptionist who will handle telephones, appointments, and patient management. Applicant must love people, be energetic, detail oriented, outgoing, and positive! Excellent patient care and service is our goal.
Position Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check-in patients
- Schedule appointments
- Collect patient payments
- Answer telephone
- Enter/update patient demographic data
- Verify insurance benefits/eligibility and document in the computer system
- Verify/obtain referral numbers or authorizations
- Scan reports and documents
- Send reports to appropriate clinic personnel
- Add notes to appointment to help keep providers informed
Experience: One year experience working in a medical office setting preferred. Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Special Requirements: Must be able to work independently and prioritize.
