Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Government Patrol Security Clearance in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals onsite. By providing outstanding customer service and communicating clearly, you will play an essential role in creating a positive experience. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following Allied Universal protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe security-related concerns.
- Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report security-related incidents or hazards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff regarding security-related procedures and guidelines.
- Document observations and incidents as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site teams to maintain a secure environment in accordance with established protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
