Project Manager - Cold Storage

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of cold storage construction projects, including preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and closeout
• Oversee installation of insulated metal panel systems, refrigeration equipment, freezer/cooler doors, and related cold storage systems
• Collaborate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project scope, quality, and deadlines
• Monitor job cost, schedules, and safety compliance throughout the duration of the project
• Coordinate the procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractors specific to cold storage systems
• Provide field leadership to ensure adherence to design specifications, operational requirements, and customer expectations
• Conduct regular site visits and team meetings to ensure communication and alignment across all stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years specifically in cold storage, food processing, refrigerated warehouses, or similar environments
• Demonstrated experience managing insulated panel systems, refrigeration/HVAC systems, and low-temp environments
• Strong understanding of design-build project delivery methods
• Proficiency in project scheduling and construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel regionally for project oversight as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with turn-key cold storage or food & beverage processing projects
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food-grade or temperature-controlled environments
• OSHA 30 certification a plus
