Step into a dynamic school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite with a supportive educational community. This contract position spans the full academic year from early August through late May, offering the chance to make a real difference for elementary students.
You'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans that foster communication, social, and academic success. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Regular school hours provide stability while keeping your evenings and weekends free.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear SLP state license
- Current Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with strong organization and documentation skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapy services for a caseload of about 50 elementary students
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other team members
- Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with all required records
- Partner with teachers and other school personnel to support students’ learning goals
- Communicate with families regarding progress, strategies, and resources
This engaging role offers the structure of predictable weekday hours from 7:30 AM to 3 PM, set within a close-knit school environment.
